Films For Action - Austin, Texas Chapter started in Early February to help promote change within Austin through film, art, and action. The organization is hosting it's FIRST ever event in partnership with the UT National Association of Black Journalists!

During the event we'll feature a film created and directed by the NABJ titled "BLACK OUT: A documentary about gentrification in Austin". BLACK OUT takes viewers through East Austin to show the ways that gentrification has changed the city, the film introduces the audience to decorated scholars, college students, and local community members.

After the showing of BLACK OUT, F4A will host a panel and open the floor for questions from the audience.
