The Austin School of Film says
*Ever get sick of going to mixers and meetups where you talk about making something, but then never do?
*Interested in learning something new (while doing), thinking outside the box, and maybe stretching your filmmaking muscles a bit?
*Feeling the need to collaborate and be creative, but don't have a ton of time?
*Want to raise a little $ for an organization that loves its filmmakers?
*Just looking for something new to do on a Friday night?

This event is for you!!!

The Friday Night Film Frenzy is a 3-hour film competition where you will be presented with a short film challenge, mixed into groups, and set loose to direct, shoot, act, and edit a short piece we'll present at the conclusion of the evening. The competition itself will be different each event, and will not be revealed until the event begins.

You should pack along your camera if you own one, any additional gear (since this is pretty quick paced, in-camera audio will not be completely frowned upon), and any props or costumes that you might like to use. Anything you bring could potentially give your team an advantage. So, throw it in your trunk just in case!

Donations of $20-$50 are strongly encouraged at the door. Money raised at this event will go toward the Austin School of Film's new building fund to make their new creative space as cool as possible!
