One World Theatre says
Highly influential and founder of the rock band Cream, multi-faceted drummer Ginger Baker makes his One World Theatre debut.

Baker’s recognition as a drummer began during the Graham Bon Organization, in the early 60s. The band toured with The Who, The Troggs, The Moody Blues, and Chuck Berry, attracting press interest for their outrageous behavior and riotous fun. In 1964 Baker was considered ‘one of Britain’s great drummers’ by Melody Maker journalist, Chris Welch.

From this recognition, Baker collaborated with Eric Clapton, and the Cream era began. After that journey ended, Baker worked with Blind Faith and started the jazz fusion group Ginger Baker’s Airforce. A pivotal trek to Africa left a remarkable impression on Baker, and his music reached wider scopes in the jazz, world, and rock realms. His current project, Ginger Baker Jazz Confusion began in 2012 and shows no signs of slowing down!
