The Hindu Students Association at the University of Texas at Austin proudly presents HOLI 2015. Celebrated by Indians and Hindus all over the world, Holi is an event that vibrantly welcomes the new and much-awaited spring season. People take part in the Holi festivities to rejoice in the good times to come. Furthermore, Holi celebrates the positivity, creativity, and oneness among all people. To celebrate the spring season as well as symbolically eliminate the differences that may drive us apart, we playfully throw color or ‘rang’ at each other to illustrate a sense of unity. There will be singing, dancing, and lots of color! We invite you to join us in this fun celebration! It's completely FREE. Rang/color WILL be provided.
Things NOT allowed at the event: water guns (or any other kind of weapon), color purchased from elsewhere
