Hoop In The Honk Texas Parade!

Yay! Once again, we have been invited to hoop in the Honk Texas Parade. This, in my opinion, is Austin's most fun live music event. Even more fun when you get to be part of it.


We will meet and check in for our parade placement at 11:00 AM you don't have to wear anything special but if you enjoy a good costume, this is an opportunity to wear your most fun, crazy and colorful stuff. At minimum, try to wear something with the color green.


The parade starts at noon and is about a mile long. You don't have to be a great hooper, you just have to be able to walk a mile with your hoop, have fun and interact with the crowds.

The parade loops around and ends back at Pan Am Park. You will be free to go from there or stay and enjoy watching all of the renegade marching bands perform on the stage.
