Irish Fiddle Taught By Niamh Fahy

Niamh will explore the fundamentals of Irish fiddle, focusing on bow techniques, left hand techniques, tone production, correct intonation, and steady rhythm. She will show you the basic technical elements of Irish music, including bowed triplets, rolls, cuts, bowing patterns, etc., as well as looking at stylistic elements and how they vary from region to region in Ireland. She will help you to learn tunes by ear and will cover many different tune types.
