Jewelry 101: Bezel + Tab Setting

Saturday + Sunday, March 14-15, 10-6p Spend a full weekend learning the core techniques of jewelry making and the tools and equipment of a metalsmithing studio. This course will cover the essentials of fabrication: - Soldering - Flex Shaft Techniques - Tab Setting a Stone - Bezel Setting a Stone - Filing, Sanding + Finishing - Basic Wire Working - Texturing - Forming Techniques Practice these techniques in copper, nickel and brass.
