Meditation In Motion: Joy says
The Earth is blooming!
Wild flowers are everywhere and the ground is humming with life.

As the rich soil reminds us, we are creatures of vitality and light.

This April leap into the richness of Spring and let's dance Joy.

Re-charge and re-new in this monthly workshop in which we put aside ideas of “pretty,” “good” or “right” - and invite instead our truest and most authentic selves to Dance. Blessed with the musical mastery and heart of Steve Daniel, Michelle Schreiber, Jason Traweek, and Lisa Talev - playing drums, bowls, didgeridoo, guitar and song - we
quiet the mind and unleash the Soul.

Meditation in Motion is a shamanic dance journey to invigorate the core wisdom of our bodies. Whether it is the impulse to move a finger, or the drive to shake our bones, our unique and intuitive movement is honored as the best guide for connecting to our most authentic and sacred selves.

In daily life, our instinctive wisdom is often silenced, stilled, or compromised. We “hold in our stomachs,” “put our shoulders back,” and “get smaller.” Instead of loving acceptance, we learn to suppress our physical needs and intuition, and so separate ourselves from our most vital knowledge.

By harvesting our genuine dance - and nurturing the 'truth' of our instinctive movement - we practice integrity on the floor - and for Life.

Rooted in the belief we are our own best teachers, no steps are taught. We begin with the creation of safe space and end with a seated circle.

Different movement ‘exercises’ are offered throughout the session, but all with the intention of connecting you with you, or in support of each other.

No dance experience is required, and all levels of fitness are welcome.

There is no set charge; we ask you come as you can.
