Mindfulness – Everyday – for Everyone.

This workshop is an invitation to start living your life more mindfully - to move, communicate, grow, eat, and revel in mindfulness. Mindfulness is a nourishing way of being in the world. Mindfulness is being in the present moment, fully, with intention, and without judgment. You will walk away with tools for cultivating mindfulness in your yoga practice, your work, you relationships, and with yourself.

This workshop is an opportunity to delve deep into the present moment with intention and without judgment. Mindfulness has been a buzz in the news for the last couple years with professional athletes, educators, lawyers, and even law enforcement jumping on the mindfulness wagon. Mindfulness feels like magic, but it is rooted in scientific evidence to reduce stress, improve the cardiovascular nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, and more focus and energy.

Living life mindfully can be difficult – we are pushed and pulled by our past and future, we are overwhelmed with to do lists and responsibilities. Getting started and making mindfulness a daily habit is challenging. We will explore moving mindfully on our mat, practice mindful meditation techniques, and explore ways of creating mindful habits. No yoga experience is required. This workshop would be a great experience to share with your partner or best friend. It can be helpful to have a mindfulness buddy to help each other continue to cultivate new mindful habits.

In addition to moving on a mat, you may want to take notes, so feel free to bring a journal or notebook. We will gladly provide you with a mat, paper, and pen of course.
