Out of Bounds Comedy Festival says
This Neo-Futurist writing workshop, based in honest storytelling, is designed to strengthen confidence and communication, while bringing creativity to center stage. We focus on developing a heightened awareness, and presenting personal experiences in order to find a greater meaning in everyday life. Participants will quickly generate and perform new work that engages the self, the immediate surroundings, and the world at present. The aim is to empower and affirm the lives of the participants, and craft the everyday into the amazing. Bringing personal creativity into your writing! No experience necessary!

The New York Neo-Futurists are an ensemble of dynamic writer/performer/directors who are best known for their critically acclaimed, energetic show of original short plays, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. A collage of the comic and tragic, the political and personal, the visceral and experimental, Too Much Light endeavors to tell dynamic stories while embracing chance, change, and chaos. Since 2004, the New York Neo-Futurists have not only created over 3800 new plays and performed those plays around the world, but they have taught hundreds of creative workshops to schools, communities and corporations around the country. Workshops in both writing and performance at Out Of Bounds will be lead by founding Ensemble Member Rob Neill and longtime company members Meg Bashwiner and Emma Reaves. All three have toured extensively as Neo-Futurists and bring a combined 35 years of experience with Neo-Futurism.
