Parable Presents, “Hwjv: How Would Jesus Vote?" says
Join us in Downtown Austin on Sundays at 5:30 for Parable.

This time around, NPR correspondent, John Burnett, will talk politics and the election season with Ross Ramsey, Executive Editor and co-founder of Texas Tribune. Ramsey’s decorated career as a journalist spans decades, and he knows a thing or two about how the media can help frame these important national discussions. Join us for a conversation with a couple of our city’s most notable newsmen.

Music this round will be performed by Dave Madden, local music genius. A Berklee College of music graduate with an affinity for organizing perfect Parable programs, Dave’s an old friend of The Front Porch.

At Parable, all voices matter. At the end of the gathering, a radically open Communion service is offered to all, regardless of code or creed. People coming to Parable include lapsed church goers, regular church goers, and those who don’t identify with church. All donations received at Parable directly benefit our musician that evening.

Come and see what Parable, the pubchurch on The Front Porch, is all about. Find us in the backroom at Scholz’s, order your food and brew from our barman, Josh, and enjoy our local musician’s meanderings as you take your seat at a table. Then, get ready to join the conversation.
