We invite you to attend the 4th Annual UT Cultural Studies in Education Conference, which is being held in the George I. Sánchez building on April 10-11, 2015. Currently, there are 81 confirmed presenters who will be discussing a wide range of issues including (but not limited to): teacher education, indigenous education, curriculum, Freirean education, educational systems of oppression, minority education, higher education, transformative pedagogies, bilingual education, educational activism, and community issues.

Join us to learn from and engage with students, researchers, teachers, organizers, educators, community members, and performers about their unique "pedagogies of power"!


Featuring Keynote speaker Dr. Noah De Lissovoy, Associate Professor, Cultural Studies in Education, UT Austin (April 11th)

Also featuring an original play by nationally recognized playwright Natalie Goodnow titled, "Conversation with an Apple" (April 10th)
