Sounds from Norway @ Icenhauer's on Friday, March 20. Adress: 83 Rainey Street.
Norwegians are known for their humbleness, so you won’t often hear them bragging, but 2014 was an outstanding year for Norwegian music in the US. From Jarle Berhnoft’s Grammy nomination for "Best R&B Album" to Nico & Vinz’s domination of radio waves with their hit “Am I Wrong?”, artists from Norway have been making quite a name for themselves. This year, Norway’s next top musical talent will be taking over Icenhauer’s (83 Rainey St.) on Friday March 20th during SXSW Music as Jansen Recordings (Jansen Plateproduksjon in EU) and Brilliance Records return for another year with a wide range of Nordic music at SXSW. It will be kjempebra!
