Vote Ben Norton For Business Representative

Vote at utexasvote.org March 4-5. Hey Longhorns my name is Ben Norton and I am running to be one of your Business Representatives in Student Government. I'm a freshman from the great town of Texarkana, TX, and I am majoring in Business Honors. I was heavily involved in Student Council prior to college and have served as a Longhorn Legislative Aide in Student Government this past year, so I have a good grasp of how student leadership organizations operate. I don't need to tell any of you how UT is without a doubt the best school in the nation, but I have a few ideas on how it could be improved and am looking forward to hearing all of your ideas, as well. Here are a few of my platform points: Improve McCombs Resources – Bring back personal scanners with McCombs computers McCombs Listens – Add a link to the McCombs website where McCombs students can submit ideas on how to improve both McCombs and UT as a whole Information Filtering – Create method for students to select the type of information they wish to receive regarding programs, networking events and internships McCombs on Your Phone – Begin developing a McCombs app that will give easy access to upcoming McCombs events, recruiting information and more Support McCombs Organizations - Work directly with McCombs organizations to ensure that they are provided with the resources they need to achieve their goals With your help, I hope to make both McCombs and UT an even better place for its students.
