Winter Blanket And Warm Clothes Donation Drive

The winter weather is upon us, and we appreciate our winter clothes and warm blankets more than ever. However, not all enjoy the same comforts. To help our community, Nueces Mosque in collaboration with Society for Islamic Awareness will be hosting a blanket and warm clothes donation drive this winter season! There are donation BOXES at the back of BOTH the brothers' and sisters' prayer areas in the Masjid. Also, $5 can be donated to SPONSOR a blanket - to donate specifically please deliver money to an EC member or Sh. Umer, or in a marked envelope to the donation box. The blankets and clothes will be distributed at the 7th Street Shelter, and a few will be kept in stock at the Masjid for those who come needing one. Contact any of the officer members listed above for more information! The drive ends on January 31, 2015.
