Heart-opening asana practice is primarily an attitude of open-hearted acceptance for ourselves and for the full-spectrum of experiences that life brings to us. This session will emphasize techniques to mobilize the upper back and shoulders in a variety of postures. Expect to demonstrations, explanations and strong work in a standing postures, twists and back bends.

Join Christina Sell for an afternoon of asana instruction and practice designed to help you advance your practice through deep, focused work in fundamental postures. Advancing your asana practice is not about doing fancier poses or showy contortions but is, instead, about creating a pathway of awareness from your outer form to deeper levels of inner knowing. Perfect for practitioners and teachers who want to explore the nuances of familiar postures that often get overlooked in fast-paced public classes. Come ready to work, play and learn.
