Yad Talks & Dinner says
Come out and hear your fellow YADniks speak from 4-5:20 PM at Tapestry of Jewish Learning, a community wide day of Jewish learning at Congregation Agudas Achim Multi-Purpose Room (7300 Hart Ln.) with dinner to follow at Galaxy Cafe (8127 Mesa Dr.) at 6 PM.

YAD Talks is moderated by Anthony Youdim. Featuring: Michelle Kama, Carly Sheridan, Sarah Weisfeld, and Tammy Varkony.

YAD Talks explores the central themes of Jewish literacy, religious engagement and identity, presented in light of their presenter’s own work, personal experiences, or Jewish or secular texts.

Topics will include: Better Jews, Reformed Jews & the Jew-ish: Destroying Barriers to Inclusivity; Nature & Spirituality; The Determinants of Jewish Identity in the USA; and From Hebrew School to the Police Academy: My Life as a Jewish Female Cop.

COST to attend YAD Talks: $5 or two cans of food if you are going only to this session.
