During this 90 minute workshop we will focus on key muscle groups (quadriceps & hamstrings), deep stretching with props & Yin postures, wrist and ankle therapy, all while releasing tension in your hips and knees. All runners, athletes, and active bodies encouraged to join!

The practice will incorporate a general warm-up, breathing exercises, Yin & Restorative concepts, and finish with much needed muscle and connective tissue relief through relaxation techniques.

Non-cyclist athletes will also find this practice beneficial due to the muscle release explored as well as adding to your workout routine.
NO yoga experience necessary, mats and props provided for those without! Looking forward to meeting fellow cyclist and athletes in the community!

As a great option for cross training, yoga stretches the muscles overworked in cycling, improves posture in the saddle, and creates more depth to breath. Apart from the physical aspects of tension relief and fascia therapy, yoga can offer mental readiness for races and long distance rides. While a consistent practice builds strength for climbing and cadence, it in turn promotes flexibility in your joints to keep your pedals turning.
