Learn a simple form of yogic breathing to support you and your partner through labor, the postpartum period, and parenting. Build a yogic breathing practice and learn to integrate yogic breathing into birthing and life beyond. Yogic breathing helps relieve fear, stress, and pain; it is a great tool for checking in with yourself and coming back to center. This workshop is intended for beginners, those new to yoga, or those with no yoga background. (If you have a longstanding yoga practice, you probably already use breathing in your day-to-day life to find centeredness and calm and may find this workshop too basic.)

Ellen Stansell, PhD, RYT has taught yoga for almost ten years. Her teaching emphasizes safety, comfort, and the inner dimensions of the practice.
