Mark your calendars: Aldi’s legendary winter snow sale drops on Saturday, May 23

It’s snow time (almost)! The weather might be cooling down, but Aldi is warming up for its most popular special buys event of the year. On Saturday, May 23, Australia’s favourite bargain supermarket is releasing its 2026 snow gear range, featuring more than 50 winter essentials. Prices start at just $4.99, with the entire range capped at less than $100 – that’s almost as wild as a snowstorm in the desert!
Whether you’re chasing Olympic gold like Jakara Anthony or just trying to survive your first lesson on the magic carpet, Aldi has everything you need to get all geared up for the slopes. However, this year’s range is super versatile for everyday wear, keeping you warm during everything from frosty sideline soccer mornings to crisp nights around the campfire.
Adults can get kitted out from head to toe for just $255, which is less than the cost of a single snow jacket at a high-end ski boutique. The 2026 collection sees the return of the fan-favourite adult ski and snowboard jackets ($59.99), with a new premium ski jacket ($99.99) engineered to handle the toughest conditions, boasting a 20,000mm waterproof rating. You can complete the look with matching ski or snowboard pants ($49.99), plus socks, boots, goggles, gloves, scarves and beanies.
Aldi’s snow gear sale isn’t just about looking good on the outside; it offers plenty of base and mid layers to keep cosy during the winter months. Think ski thermal underwear ($29.99), fleece tops ($19.99), merino sweat hoodies or jackets ($39.99) and merino quarter-zip tops ($39.99).
Budgeting for a family trip? You can kit out the little ones for just $187, with the children’s range (for those aged 14 and under) featuring snow suits ($39.99), matching snow jackets and pants, and more.
So, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 23! We’ll see you in the Aisle of Dreams!
