The study into accent bias stems from recent findings that six out of ten people believe that others make subconscious judgements about them based on their accent or how they speak. Results were even sweeter for Americans who topped the list, with one in five stating the American accent as the friendliest. The British accent was the second most friendly, with Canadian and German accents rounding out the top five.
