This exhibition is dedicated to the 28 years of collaboration and involvement between Joan Hernández Pijuan and the Joan Prats gallery. The selected works are from the period between 1977 and 2005, with special attention paid to the final years of the artist's career. It's not intended to be a retrospective, although the collection of pieces correspond to a long period of pictorial production by Pijuan. There are pieces on canvas and paper using various techniques and formats, as well as a selection of the artist's collection – photographs and drawings – that allow visitors to discover his creative surroundings and work projects and processes. The show is a tribute to the artist by the gallery, an expression of gratitude and friendship, of recognition of his work and an exhibition of this work that continues to be as contemporary now as it was when it was first created.
