This is the first solo exhibition of English artist and architect Paul Daly in Barcelona. Daly focuses his artistic research on the exploration and investigation of organic matter. Natural decomposition processes such as the action of the elements and bacterial decay interrupt the process at different times to obtain a variety of structural and chromatic effects that become the epicentre of his pieces. The light that passes through organic matter becomes a catalyst that, as in nature, gives life to each of the pieces in the exhibition. Among the materials used are ivy, laurel, maple and beech – elements extracted from nature to be used again to represent it.
