Time Out says

This library, which opened on 15 October 2000, bears the name of the alderman of the Les Corts district, Mique Llongueras, who died in 1998. He was posthumously awarded the Barcelona Medal of Honour for his dedication to the city, and especially for his work in bettering Les Corts.

The library is laid out over four floors, with space for children, a function hall, a multimedia space and all the usual library services.
