Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Those behind Cosmo might be from any nearby village, but when I go into this art gallery where I can eat a cupcake, I feel like the owners have got to be Scandinavian. To prove my theory, I look around for signs, and I find some in Cosmo.

I don't know whether to sit on a sky blue sofa, a violet armchair or a stool covered with the same material as the menu. The walls are pristine white, the ceilings very high, and someone has been painting the cooling tubes a blood red. Near the blackboard offering nachos and hummus is a huge vase of fresh flowers.

I'm still betting Cosmo is the work of someone who was born in a country where it's so cold that they have the time to spend a week arguing over whether green apple goes with lilac. Origins of this gallery and café aside, Cosmo is a quiet place to read a book or drink a fresh three-fruit-and-ginger juice while you check Facebook or shamelessly browse the latest issue of your favourite interior design magazine.

The sky is bluer over Scandinavia, the trees are brighter, the boys are more handsome, and the air is cleaner. I cast my gaze towards the back where the café becomes a showroom and I feel like a fan rotating lazily, without any urgency to go and see what the latest trends are in skateboard paintings.
