This bar serves some of the most Instagram-worthy drinks in town. One, ‘Mrs. Potts and Little Chip’ is a gin cocktail infused with tea, rosewater, lychee and hibiscus. The Alchemix’s name makes a lot of sense. Fueled by the ideas of chef Sergi Palacín and bar manager Ignacio Ussia, this innovative space mixes restaurant and bar without imposing borders. You can order food from the menu at the bar or drink cocktails while you eat dinner. The bar is undoubtedly the star of the show, and it’s easy to see why. The White Truffle Pisco Sour–with white truffle honey, pisco, lemon, bitters and white chocolate–is a marvel.
Surrounded by distillations and other experiments, Nacho moves quickly behind the bar and handles every drink with extreme care and attention to detail. Each drink is the result of fantastical mixology, and the Japanese-inspired house snacks are perfect complements.
