Catalan singer Loquillo immortalized this bar in the song 'El Cadillac Solitario' back in 1983. And then it wasn't unusual to see the singer propped up at the bar chatting with other local artists. And although it's been a while since Merbeyé has been at the top of the social or creative forces of the city, the cocktail bar, with attractive design and great views, still has an irrefutable charm.
