Lonely Together

Dance has united two performers, a Catalan and a South African, in an international project, a conversation from the south to the south in which two beings with very different roots but many things in common share their visions of the world through dance. Onstage they establish a choreographed dialogue whose soundtrack is music by Belgian composer Laurent Delforge, which envelops the essence of dancers Roberto Olivan and Gregory Maqoma. In 'Lonely Together', both artists follow their own intuition, that voice inside that's been around for generations and that, in many cultures, has driven the most transcendental aspects of humanity through ceremonies and rituals. Listening to that voice means giving free reign to emotions, thoughts and internal judgments we all carry with us.
