Two longtime collaborators of French dancer and choreographer Rachid Ouramdane perform solitary solos in an unnerving duet. Hypnotic gestures and turns, all intensely physical, are executed by Lithuanian dancer Lora Juodkaité, who can turn dizzyingly well on a single spot, has created her own way of moving that has been with her since infancy. Similar with British dancer Annie Hanauer, who dances with a prosthesis, specifically, an articulated arm, which is at the same time an extension and an integral part of her body. This is a raw, captivating show.
Concept, choreography: Rachid Ouramdane. Dancers: Annie Hanauer & Lora Juodkaité.
