Mel Brooks, USA, 1974. Original Version English, Spanish Subtitles.
The next session of the outdoor film cycle of CosmoCaixa continues to revolve around the relationship between robotics and people. The Mel Brooks comedy 'Young Frankenstein' will be shown, in which the director dares to parody one of the icons of classic terror. We are introduced to the young doctor Frederick Frankenstein, an American neurosurgeon, who tries to escape from the legacy of his grandfather, who created a horrible creature years ago. But when he inherits Frankenstein's castle and discovers a strange scientific manual in which he explains step by step how to restore the life of a corpse, he begins to create his own monster. Helped by the hunchback Igor and the curvaceous Inga (Teri Garr), the doctor creates a being whose sole purpose is to be loved.
Before the showing (10pm), there will be a concert by Pau Blanc (9pm).
