Time Out says

At this open-air film festival in Barcelona, tonight you can see Captain Fantastic, an examination of the way we live today

Matt Ross. USA, 2016. VOSE. 118’.

Ben is a man who's spent 10 years in the remote forests situated in the north-east of the USA bringing up his six children. Totally cut off from modern life, city amenities and the consumption society, Ben is a devoted father who has handed down to his offspring an unusual way of thinking and living. Despite this, when tragic news reaches them, it means the whole family has to temporarily leave their isolated surroundings behind them and deal with life with other people. An opportune reflection about whether there's room for Utopia in today's world. Prior to the screening, you can see the Big Pocket Orchestra perform their jazz take on a variety of film soundtracks (8.45pm).
