Peter Bogdanovich. USA, 1973. Original language, Catalan subtitles. 102'.
Director Peter Bogdanovich uses black and white as well as nostalgia to evoke the USA of the 1930s – the time of the Great Depression and Prohibition – via the difficult and curious relationship between a con artist (Ryan O'Neal) and a precocious orphan girl (Tatum O'Neal). Tatum O'Neal won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role at age 10.
