Enjoy a film on the big screen in the outdoor setting of the Montjuïc Castle gardens. Tonight it’s Quentin Tarantino's modern classic, 'Kill Bill: Vol. 1' (2003). The Bride (Uma Thurman) used to hang with the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, until Bill ordered the team to turn her wedding into a bloodbath. She comes to four years later, squares things with Vernita Green (Vivica Fox), then heads East on the trail of O-Ren Ishi (Lucy Liu). Two down, three to go. And give or take another hundred corpses, that's all there is to 'Vol. 1.' Read the full Time Out review.
As usual, there’s a concert before the film, this time with jazz from Gemma Abrié SoloBasSing + guests. Plus you can catch the short film 'Marta', by Lucía Forner Segarra. The feature films in this festival are in their original language with Spanish or Catalan subtitles.
