In 'Driver', Ryan Gosling plays the title character who lives a double life: a film stunt driver by day and a no-questions-asked driver for criminals of all kinds by night. It's his life, and he's used to it. But it all changes dramatically when he meets Irene, a beautiful neighbour with a young son and a husband in jail. This hard-hitting film mixes violence and blood with a brutal intensity that captivates the audience from the get-go. Before the screening there's a performance by a Brazilian music quartet led by Natalia Boechat (8.45pm).
