Phenomena: Groundhog Day + Stand By Me

Time Out says

The Phenomena film cycle pays tribute to the late River Phoenix on the twentieth anniversary of his death with 'Stand by Me' (Rob Reiner, 1986), one of his first films on which he worked with fellow child stars Jerry O'Connell, Wil Wheaten and Corey Feldman. It's a story of friendship and nostalgia, curiously based on a story by Stephen King short story. The double bill opens with 'Groundhog Day' (Harold Ramis, 1993), a cult comedy classic in which Bill Murray is doomed to repeat the same day over and over again. Both films are shown in original version with Spanish subtitles.
