Set in the heart of the Barri Gòtic, this cosy, lunchtimes-only restaurant is aimed at office work- ers. Dishes on the menú del día change daily, but might include a pumpkin soup or inventive salad, followed by botifarra with sautéed garlic potatoes. Dessert regulars are flat, sweet coca bread with a glass of muscatel, chocolate flan or figgy pudding. In the morning, it opens for breakfast, which here tends to be pa amb tomàquet (bread rubbed with tomato) topped with cheese or ham.
