Not, perhaps, the fanciest-looking restaurant around (think Peruvian gimcracks, strip lighting and tapes- tries of Macchu Pichu) or indeed the fanciest-looking food, but it certainly is tasty. Start with a pisco sour and a dish of chunky yucca chips, or perhaps some spicy corn tamales. Next, move on to ceviche for an explosion of lime and coriander; or the satisfying lomo saltado – pork fried with onions, tomatoes and coriander. Service is friendly and there are two types of Peruvian beer, plus (for the very nostalgic or the hypoglycaemic) Inca Kola.
