Fundació Casa Amèrica Catalunya

The Fundació Casa America Catalunya is an institution that creates, promotes, organises and collaborates on events, projects and programmes to disseminate and exchange knowledge about the cultural, economic and historical characteristics of the different countries of Latin America to expand and strengthen relationships between the Latin American community and Catalonia.

It's a descendant of the Casa Amèrica de Barcelona, founded in 1911, and heir of the Instituto Catalán de Cooperación Iberoamericana and divides its work into five areas: visual, literature, exhibitions, debates and conference spaces.
