Time Out says

Primavera Sound 2015 celebrates its 15th edition May 28-30 at the Parc del Fòrum, which just so happens to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the debut album by The Strokes. The New York revival garage rock band was the first to confirm their spot in this year's line-up, followed by Ride, pioneers of shoegaze in the late '80s and early '90s and who are back on stages in 2015. The Primavera Sound festival will be the British band's only live show in Spain this year.

Other headliners at this year's edition include Patti Smith, who will perform her debut album, 'Horses' (1975), The Black Keys, OMD, The Replacements and Antony and the Johnsons. Other confirmed acts on the bill for Primavera Sound 2015 include Alt-J, Ariel Pink, Belle and Sebastian, Ben Watt (Everything but the Girl), Caribou, Christina Rosenvinge, Damien Rice, Tori Amos, Interpol, James Blake, José González, Mac DeMarco, The New Pornographers, Run The Jewels, Panda Bear, Perfume Genius, Sleater-Kinney, Mark Kozelek as Sun Kil Moon, Swans and Thurston Moore (formerly of Sonic Youth) – all with albums released in 2014 or 2015. Einstürzende Neubauten, Spiritualized, Richie Hawtin and Underworld are other big names that will grace the stages at PS 2015.

You'll also be able to see The Julie Ruin, Giant Sand, Baxter Dury, Jungle, Strand Of Oaks, as well as Joan Miquel Oliver (formerly of Antònia Font), Los Punsetes, Sr. Chinarro, Nueva Vulcano, Les Sueques, Las Ruinas, Núria Graham, Dulce Pájara de Juventud and Shellac.

Find out who's playing on the opening day, which is free to everyone, on Wednesday 27, as well as the official festival days, Thursday 28, Friday 29 and Saturday 30.
