Time Out says

The Pepper Pots are a trio of Catalan women from Girona who sing in English and sound like they're straight out the American 1960s. After 10 years and six albums, world tours with stops in the U.S., Japan, England and France, and collaborations with some of the most renowned artists in the recent history of soul (Binky Griptite, Eli 'Paperboy' Reed) as well as the not-so-recent (The Impressions, Maxine Brown), they're back in town to present their new album, 'We Must Fight' (2013). This record is a step forward in their sound, with changes most evident in their voices, especially as this is the first time they're performing as a duo, made up of Adriana Prunell and Aya Sima. It's the perfect combination of deep soul and the Motown sound of the late '60s and early '70s, with string arrangements, percussion, keyboard and guitars, giving their sound new depth.
