49th Voll-Damm Festival Internacional de Jazz de Barcelona: Kenny Washington & Ignasi Terraza Trio

Kenny Washington is in Barcelona for the first time, and he's accompanied by the infallible Ignasi Terraza Trio. Washington was among those who participated last April in the Lincoln Center tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, along with the likes of Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center orchestra, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fitzgerald's birth. Washington is a virtuoso who Ravi Coltrane chose as his favourite vocalist, and the 'San Francisco Chronicle' calls 'the Superman of the city's jazz scene'.
