Inspired by the figure of Marianne Brull, one of the most committed activists on the Catalan jazz and improvisation scene, the new album by Liquid Trio sees the consolidation of this line-up consisting of the pianist Agustí Fernández and the members of Duot – the saxophonist Albert Cirera and the drummer Ramon Prats. In this way, the Jamboree also wants to join in the well-deserved tribute to a person and a scene that never fail to generate new approaches based on maximum creative freedom outside established conventions.
