The trio Ash from Northern Ireland, who are singer and guitarist Tim Wheeler, bassist Mark Hamilton and drummer Rick McMurray, first made themselves known in 1994 when they were still in secondary school with the release of their mini album, 'Trailer', but even more so with '1997' (1996), their first LP, which includes their hits 'Girl from Mars', 'Gold Finger' and 'Oh Yeah'. They were pop idols in the UK during the Britpop boom, and they have released eight albums, the latest in 2018 ('Islands'). Now they're celebrating 25 years together with the compilation album and tour 'Teenage Wildlife'.
