Time Out says

The most urban beats are the star of the show at tonight's BAM festival at the Muelle de la Madera. First up is Myriam Swanson, who fronts Flamingo Tours (9pm) with her booming voice and sexy charisma. Swanson and company bring a wild vintage rock 'n' roll, early rabid soul, and surfer R&B. And that's just your starter. Following is veteran performer Sonny Knight (10.15pm), who made his debut at the tender age of 16 in 1956, and in the 1970s played with funk group Haze, but in the 1980s he gave up music. Brought back by founder of Secret Stash and house drummer, Eric Foss, member of The Lakers, Knight has recorded a new album, 'I'm Still Here'. Eight-piece band fronted by Lisa Kekaula, Lisa & The Lips (11.30pm) take the stage with savage guitar riffs, funk bass lines, the sound of brass winds, and Kekaula's passionate voice. The night comes to a close courtesy of Ibibio Sound Machine (1am), a group led by Eno Williams that combines elements of Western African highlife (characterised by the sound of guitars and brass) with disco and post-punk.
