BAM 2015: Beach Beach + Mourn + Jambinai

Jambinai (midnight) took off in 2009 when the members of the South Korean trio came up with a way to bring the traditional music of their country up to date and into the 21st century. This experimental rock band uses traditonal Korean instruments and mixes post-rock with music from around the world, with touches of metal and electronica. The line-up is rounded out by two locally well-known goups. From Mallorca there's the four-piece band Beach Beach (9pm) with their crystalline pop, and afterwards it's the young group of four Mourn (10.30pm), who bring back the loud and dissonant rock of 20 years ago, and write lyrics tinged with teen angst with authenticity and attitude and are currently one of the biggest acts on the Catalan and Spanish scene.
