BAM 2017: Marika Hackman + Anna Meredith

The stage at Plaça dels Àngels welcomes two female artists. First up it's English singer-songwriter Marika Hackman (11.15pm), presenting her second album, 'I'm Not Your Man' (2017), which she released on the Sub Pop label and which features tracks about sex and sexual identity from an under-represented feminine point of view. Next it's composer Anna Meredith (12.45am) from Scotland who, with a classical training and background, leapt into the world of electronics, and presents her debut LP, 'Varmints' (2016), which won her the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) award. Look forward to catchy popular and sophisticated melodies alongside contemporary music.
