BAM 2018: Maisha + Kokoroko + Meute

The first night of BAM at the Plaça dels Àngels stage, you can check out London sextet and heroes of spiritual jazz, Maisha (9.45pm); another six-piece outfit, Kokoroko (11.15pm), with an intrepid wind section led by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey; Meute (12.45am), who define themselves as a techno marching band, featuring a dozen blowers and drummers from Hamburg, who, in their own words, do the work of a DJ but with acoustic instruments.
