Blues & Ritmes 2015: Maria del Mar Bonet

Few artists in this country represent values so intrinsically related to the Blues & Ritmes cycle as Maria del Mar Bonet, such as the instinct to mix cultures and the universality of  song. Bonet makes her debut at the festival by performing one of her most iconic albums in its entirety: 'Aleñar', originally published in 1977 and featuring songs in Catalan including 'Es fa llarg esperar' and 'Aquest temps de calabruix'. The concert will be completed with works from the albums that the Mallorcan singer released just before 'Aleñar' (some she hasn't sung for decades), and the audience will be reunited with a voice that remains in top form.
