Caprichos de Apolo: DakhaBrakha

DakhaBrakha is still a cult phenomenon in Ukraine. For the last five years, the award-winning theatrical quartet of multi-instrumental musicians and singers have experimented with Ukrainian folk rhythms, Eastern European and western Asian sounds, mixing ethnic materials with minimalism in a genuine way. DakhaBrakha create wild sounds, fusing the sagred with the modern. Their irresistable charisma stems from their roots: the band was started in 2004 by Vladyslav Troitskiy, director of avant-garde theatre Dakh, and his influence is evident today in the band's performances.
