Ciutat Flamenco 2013: Banda Municipal de Barcelona, Escola Gornal-Centre de les Arts de L’Hospitalet i Institut del Teatre + Eva Yerbabuena

A performance that brings together the Banda Municipal de Barcelona (Municipal Band of Barcelona), gypsy children from the Gornal neighbourhood, all students of the Escola de Música-Centre de les Arts de L’Hospitalet (Music School-Art Centre of L’Hospitalet), and the students of the Institut del Teatre (Institute of Theatre) to pay tribute to Carmen Amaya on her 100th birthday. With a special collaboration with dancer Eva Yerbabuena, and stage direction by Juan Carlos Lérida, this event is an exclusive opportunity to experience the coming together of different social classes and to encourage a partnership between learning and professionalism with a common goal.
